Designed for use where fastening has to be pressure or water tight. POP sealed type blind rivets have a sealed end completely enclosing the mandrel head. This mandrel head is retained, an important feature in many applications. The seated rivet has high shear and tensile strength and is resistant to vibration. POP sealed type blind rivets are manufactured in 99.5% pure aluminium, which is ideal for fastening soft or brittle materials owing to their soft setting characteristics.
To order take the size code from the table, prefixed by the letters AD (Domed) or AK (Countersunk), followed by the letters SB (Short-Break Mandrel).
For Example:
AD46SB is a domed rivet, size 46, with a ‘short break’ mandrel.
