There are 2 ranges of British stiffnuts, those with BA/BSF thread (AGS2001 - AGS2019) and those with UNC/UNF thread (A125 - A137).
“AGS” series BA/BSF stiffnuts are ordered by the main part number, followed by the size code, a number denoting the material and finally a suffix to denote the type. For example: AGS2001-C1-66 would be 2 BA, plated steel, all metal.
AGS floating anchor nuts require 2 numbers for the material. The first one relates to the outer casing/base and the second to the inner nut itself. For example: AGS2013-C32-66 has an aluminium base and corrosion resistant steel nut.
“A” series UNC/UNF stiffnuts only require a the size code and type suffix as the main part number denotes the material. For example: A127-C77 is an 8/32” UNC nyloc nut.
